You can’t customize God…
But no matter how we try to alter God and make him fit our likeness, God is God! He is unique, infinite, eternal, unchanging and He is personal. It’s like when I order a supreme pizza and I ask them to leave off the onion—God isn’t a pizza you can customize!

Consuming…
The more I consume the Word of God, the more His Word should fill my life, motivating every area. I don’t just read the Word; I am consuming it. And as I consume it, my life will grow, and I will bare fruit for His kingdom. Knowledge isn’t enough.

Fog of discouragement…
So, this morning, I set aside my feelings from the previous day and vowed to have a better day. And you know what? I did!

Fearfully and wonderfully made…
Who am I that I would say to God’s face, “I love you Lord, but I don’t like how you made me? I wish you would have made me taller, thinner, smarter…” You get the picture?

A freshly waxed car…
Is my heart, your heart, like a well-waxed car? Does God’s word, his Spirit, bead up and roll off of it, keeping his message and strength from permeating your heart and soul? Does it keep his words from changing you?

40 Days…
I can do all things through Him who gives me strength! That means when the anxiety and the fear from my daily news feed, or the unexpected happens and my “plan” goes flying out the window, I can lean into Him and he will give me His strength!

Don’t take your eyes off of Jesus!
The Lord knows our fears and he can see the storm, the enemy that is coming up against you today. Take heart and do not be discouraged! Don’t allow the sound of the wind to pull your eyes off of Jesus. Don’t let the approaching army fill your heart with fear and dread. Look to…

Out with the old…In with the new
So, 2021…I invite you to “BRING IT”. I will lay whatever you throw at me at the foot of the cross and I will continue to look to him for my strength. Because no one knows what the future holds, but we who live in Christ, know who holds our future.

God meant for good…
Don’t let the difficulties of the present, keep you from looking for the future that God has planned for you. Have the faith of Joseph and watch what God does to restore what the enemy has stolen from you.
