The puzzle of my life…

Don’t doubt for one minute that He isn’t in control or that He has forgotten about you! You may not understand or be able to see His plan as it plays out, but have faith! His hand is moving; lovingly He is providing a way for you!

Promised Land

Knowing that Jesus is King and that we are His children, knowing that we are now at peace with God, knowing that we have forgiveness that can never be taken away…why else wouldn’t we have hope?

Today is the day the Lord has made!

And if we are to be thankful, who are we to give that thankfulness to? God, the one and only, true source of all that we have!

What is real?

So it is with this world; the evidence that God exists is overwhelming. We just don’t want to be bothered with that truth! We have exchanged the truth in order to support the lies that we have created.

Enough….

If I profess to be a Christian—I love the Lord—I seek to serve Him, in what situations am I putting my hand up to God’s face and saying— “That’s enough God. Not gonna happen!”

You can’t customize God…

But no matter how we try to alter God and make him fit our likeness, God is God! He is unique, infinite, eternal, unchanging and He is personal. It’s like when I order a supreme pizza and I ask them to leave off the onion—God isn’t a pizza you can customize!

Overdrawn…
Paul is telling us in no uncertain terms—we cannot balance our accounts with God. We are so far in the negative that nothing we can do will ever square the debt. We can’t work enough, be good enough, be generous enough…nothing WE can do will ever tip the scale and clear the debt we have…

Consuming…

The more I consume the Word of God, the more His Word should fill my life, motivating every area. I don’t just read the Word; I am consuming it. And as I consume it, my life will grow, and I will bare fruit for His kingdom. Knowledge isn’t enough.

The struggle to juggle…

Worry is allowing problems and distress to come between us and the heart of God. It is the view that God has somehow lost control of the situation and we cannot trust him. A legitimate concern presses us closer to the heart of God and causes us to learn and trust on him all the…

It’s about relationship…

It’s not about religion—not really. It’s about relationship! As a Christian, I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I know Him and He knows me!
