I have always had the desire to write and I’ve always had this title in my mind, but through the years, the focus or topic of my writing has changed. At first I wanted to simply write about my life, my dad and the experience of my life. But now that I am older, my focus has changed. The Lord has taught me many things over the years and many of them were painful. But the verse that has always stood firmly in my heart when it comes to my writing and any message I want to share is 1 Peter 5:8 “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour”. I have been chased the by devil, my entire life. Even after I decided to write this blog, obstacles frustrated me and made me question my decision. You see, Satan does not want this message to spread. He doesn’t want you to know about faith, hope, forgiveness, and the power to overcome the enemy. Our God is forever, never changing. He is in control. In this blog I hope to share how my faith and some heavenly protection carried me through some very turbulent years. I hope you will be encouraged to find your own story in God’s mighty plan. Our whole lives are just a puzzle of pieces and we can’t see the whole picture. We must trust the Lord, who is the originator of life to put the pieces together to complete our puzzle for the glory of his kingdom.
